POLICE MATTERS

If life is in danger or if a crime is in progress call 999.  Incidents or suspicious circumstances should be reported by either calling 101 or reporting online via the Dorset Police website https://www.dorset.police.uk/ on the “Contact us” section.  Information and advice are regularly posted on the Dorchester Police Facebook page and via Dorset Alert (https://www.dorsetalert.co.uk/pages/2451/1/Register.html)

AskNED is a Non-Emergency Directory. It is a service that combines the questions that members of the public have asked with contact details of those that can help.  AskNED also includes common questions asked of our partner organisations.

SHERBORNE RURAL NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING TEAM

Despite the need to temporarily withdraw from face to face meetings as a means of conserving/managing staff levels during the Covid-19 crisis, we continue to patrol all areas and are utilising social media to keep members of the public appraised of our actions.

Dorset Police has created a webpage to provide answers to questions that people may have. There is also a Frequently Asked Questions area.
